Future of the Senses
solo exhibition at Nexus Gallery, 2019.

I was doing a residency at Nexus Arts, with a mentor, well renowned visual artist Catherine Truman.

This work is a result of my research and curiosity about the way crystals form and grow from something that is seemingly 'dead' and immaterial. In this project, I delved into the personal experiences growing up as a child in a war zone. The act of growing crystals and allowing them to take unpredictable shapes and forms in different spaces can be likened to how we, as human beings grow spiritually and have inner freedom and power to give life to our own ideas and thoughts.
